Dr. Fisher is a member of the faculty of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Jefferson Medical College. He is Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Radiation Oncology and Medical Director at the Radiation Oncology Center at Frankford Hospital-Torresdale Division.

Dr.Fisher is published in several areas including the management of soft tissue sarcomas and AIDS related malignancies. He also has a strong interest in the use of Intraoperative Radiation Therapy in the management of certain malignancies. 

Dr. Fisher earned his medical degree at The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He did a one year rotating internship at JFK Hospitals in New Jersey before starting his residency and fellowship in Radiation Oncology at Hahnemann University Hospital. He was an American Cancer Society Clinical Oncology Fellow during the last year of his residency. Prior to joining Jefferson, Dr. Fisher served as Director of Radiation Oncology at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia for nine years and also spent two years as Chief Operating Officer for a local biotechnology company. He is board certified in Radiation Oncology.
