Shannon Fogh M.D. has served as a resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Thomas
Jefferson University Hospital since July 2006. She received her undergraduate education at the University of Washington in
Seattle, Washington where she majored in both psychology and dance. She subsequently completed a master's degree focusing on
the physiology of chronic pain at Boston University and attained her M.D. in 2005 from Boston University School of Medicine.
She completed her internship in internal medicine at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge Massachusetts in July 2006.
As a resident, Dr. Fogh maintains an interest in teaching, women's health, and in breast
and gynecologic malignancies. Her current research efforts are focused on current therapy and radiation treatment of Salivary
Adenoid Cystic Cancer under the direction of Dr. Machtay.
