Mahroo Haghbin, M.D. is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology. She has a long-standing experience in hematologic malignancies, and has authored a large number of papers in this field. She has several years of experience at Jefferson Medical College in the management of lung cancer, brain tumors and breast cancer. Prior to joining Jefferson Medical College, she worked in the area of gastrointestinal tumors. Overall, she has a broad experience in the management of malignant tumors.

Dr. Haghbin belongs to a number of professional societies. She graduated from Tehran Medical School and had post-graduate training at New York University Medical School, and Sloan-Kettering Institute for Cancer Research. She worked at Sloan-Kettering Institute for Cancer Research for several years as an attending physician.
