ELEKTA Research Consortium

Physicists and clinicians for the TJU Radiation Oncology Department joined the ELEKTA Research Consortium early in 1998. The consortium consists of a number of prestigious institutions from around the world. Consortium meetings take place in England twice each year. The main purpose of the consortium is to help ELEKTA make Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) available to their customers. In this advisory role, the consortium members have made significant contributions to the understanding of this new treatment modality. The consortium members are listed below.
