Interests: General Radiation Oncology, Breast Cancer and Brain Tumors


Shari B. Rudoler, M.D. is a Radiation Oncologist who treats all types of cancer, with a special focus in the treatment of brain and breast malignancies. Dr. Rudoler is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Thomas Jefferson Medical College, and Assistant Professor on staff at the Frankford-Torresdale Radiation Oncology Department.

Dr. Rudoler has conducted research and published journal articles in the areas of eye tumors, brain tumors, stereotactic radiosurgery, pituitary tumors, and head and neck cancer. Dr. Rudoler has presented research at the annual meetings of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO), and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). In addition, she is an active member of ASTRO. Dr. Rudoler’s honors include the ASTRO Travel Grant and the RSNA Roentgen Resident/ Fellow Research Award.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Dr. Rudoler completed her medical internship at Cooper Hospital –University Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey. She served her residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania, with a year as chief resident. Subsequently, she completed additional fellowship training in radiation neuro-oncology at Thomas Jefferson Hospital. She is certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
