Merrill J. Solan, M.D., Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Jefferson, is Medical Director of the Jefferson Radiation Oncology facility at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media, Pennsylvania. Dr. Solan received her M.D. degree in 1975 from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. She trained in Pediatrics at NYU-Bellevue Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center in New York and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Solan trained in Radiation Oncology at Thomas Jefferson University and is Board Certified in Therapeutic Radiology. She has published extensively in the management of skin cancers with radiation and has special interest in the treatment of malignancies of the breast, colon, and prostate.
