     Michal Whiton was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She attended
Washington State University and majored in fine arts history and music
performance. In 2001, Whiton attended medical school at the University of
Washington in Seattle. During the summer of 2002, she was awarded the
Simon Kramer Fellowship in Radiation Oncology at Thomas Jefferson. She
began working on a Phase I/II esophageal cancer research project with Dr.
Rani Anne at that time. After graduating from medical school, she stayed
in Seattle to complete her internship in Internal Medicine at the
University of Washington. She began her residency at Thomas Jefferson in
Radiation Oncology in July 2006.

Her interests in oncology include CNS, lung and gynecologic malignancies.

Phase I/II Trial Of Paclitaxel, Carboplatinum, 5-Fu And Radiation Therapy
Followed By Surgery
