The Reading Hospital and Medical Center is a not-for-profit healthcare center providing comprehensive acute care, post-acute rehabilitation, behavioral, and occupational health services to the people of Berks and adjoining counties. The Mission of The Reading Hospital and Medical Center is to provide compassionate, accessible, high quality, cost effective health care to the community; to promote health; to educate healthcare professionals; and to participate in appropriate clinical research.

At the McGlinn Family Regional Cancer Center, we recognize the journey from diagnosis to survival is very personal. So we bring together cancer experts from different disciplines that study each case and recommend a plan of action to address each patient's disease, concerns, and expectations.

This multidisciplinary approach is led by dedicated doctors with expertise in the latest medical, surgical, and radiation protocols. It is backed by the latest life-saving technology. And our nurse navigators work closely with patient and family to provide the information and support necessary to make decisions about their future.

At The Reading Hospital, we combine our dedication, expertise, and technology to achieve best-practice outcomes because we, too, take cancer personally.
